As a result of this growth, we are currently looking for someone to join our dynamic Management Team in the role of Visiting Nurse Manager. As a member of the management team, you will work closely with the Director, along with other key internal and external stakeholders, in growing the nursing program within the region.
The Nurse Manager will be accountable for the administration, organization and management of Community Nursing teams, ensuring the achievement of quality care standards that are consistent with the core values of the organization including patient-centeredness, excellence, partnership, and accountability. The Nurse Manager will also be responsible for operational and leadership functions including meeting performance targets, onboarding and orientation of new nurses, and continued mentorship, teaching, and performance management of teams. These responsibilities shall be carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, mission, vision and applicable legislation. During the growth phase of the program, the Nurse Manager will operate in a working manager capacity. This will include performing up to 20 nursing visits per week while also supporting current nurses and growing the nursing team to sustainably support the the community.

This is a Full-Time contract position. Hours of work will be Monday-Friday as well as participation in some On-Call work, which includes evenings and weekends on a rotational basis.

In addition to providing home-based health care, CarePartners also serves the community through clinics, transitional care units, and provides relief in retirement homes and shared care settings. Through our Community Nursing Services outreach program, we’ve been organizing staff-led medical care and clinics in countries with poor access to health care since 2009.
