Overview

We are currently looking for someone to join our team in the role of Project Manager. This position is based out of our Waterloo, ON corporate office, with hybrid working options available.

 

Provide the necessary leadership in order to deliver projects on time and within budget. Responsible for
managing project schedules, budgets, risks, communications and resources. The Project Manager will engage
with cross-functional project team leads and assist with inter-project dependencies and communications.
The below noted tasks are to be completed in a manner which builds the business and meets the strategic
needs of the organization.

What The Role Involves

  • Produce all required project management documentation, such as detailed project plans, work plans,
    product delivery schedules, project estimates, conversion schedules, resource plans, status reports,
    change management and risk management.
  • Develop and manage the project budget.
  • Manage projects ensuring project deliverables are brought in on time, within budget and quality targets.
  • Monitor and report project performance and regularly engage project sponsor, internal customers, and
    other stakeholders to ensure good visibility and communication of the project.
  • Ensure all parties (internal and external) are aware of project scope and milestones. Highlight
    deviations from project scope and adjust where necessary to reflect changing circumstances.
  • Influence and contribute to successful change, including new ways of doing business.
  • Maintain and create visibility by communicating the status and health of the project.
  • Ensure prioritization and alignment of initiatives and that projects meet business and financial goals.
  • Manage vendor(s) within defined contract parameters.
  • Facilitate the identification and resolution of project issues; ensure issues are raised to the executive
    sponsor and/or steering committee and solutions are provided for timely decision making.
  • Manage project related risks.

What You Bring

  • University Degree in business administration, health informatics, or other analytical discipline
  • Sound knowledge of project management tools, techniques, and methodologies
  • PMP Certification in progress or equivalent years of experience
  • Proficiency in French is considered an asset
  • Health Care industry experience an asset
  • Strong organization, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrated success in effective project delivery
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing complex projects in either digital health or business
    operations
  • Valid driver's license, own vehicle and appropriate insurance
